A Call for Women to Pray in 2025

My dear friend and mentor Barbara Mouser has challenged women for many years to rise up and pray for men.

She says this, “I do not believe there is anything that women can do to more glorify God, strengthen our nation, nurture our children, build up the church, expand missions, and to fight the forces of evil than pray for men in a committed and persevering way.” Wow, what an impact our prayers can have in men’s lives!

God created women to help and complete our husbands, and the men of our lives and the world. Let us help them by bringing those God has placed in our circle beforeHis throne. (Genesis 2:18-The Lord God said, “It is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”)

As we enter into 2025 in a world where the Biblical understanding of masculinity continues to be attacked, denied, and skewed I am asking each of you to pray and then make a list of ten or more men that you will lift up in prayer this year. Please include men in your family, in your church, pastors, elders, fathers, sons, mission leaders, men in government, men in the military and lay men. Include young men that are walking with God, and those who have rebelled and wondered away, and those who have never come to know The Lord at all.
